Appointments

We offer patients that are registered with a Camden GP Practice evening appointments and weekend GP appointments, seven days a week at our GP hubs.

Our appointments 

Experienced GPs and nurses work at our hubs and provide clinical assessment and treatment for adults and children with minor injuries and illnesses. Both routine and same-day appointments are offered, subject to availability. Routine appointments can be booked up to two weeks in advance.

You will normally be offered an appointment at the GP hub nearest to you, depending on where your usual practice is located subject to hub operating hours. Appointments take place by phone, video, or face-to-face based on your clinical need.

All appointments must be booked in advance, including same day appointments – please note, this is not a walk-in service.

We provide a wide range of services. There are a range of professionals who can look after you. You may be offered an appointment with an advanced nurse practitioner, physiotherapist, paramedic or clinical pharmacist rather than a GP.

This appointment may take place face-to-face at the practice, on the telephone or via video call.

Before you make an appointment to see your GP, think about what other services might be able to help.

• go to a pharmacy for advice and treatment for minor conditions.
• go to your local urgent care centre for treatment of strains, sprains and flesh wounds.
• call NHS 111 or visit 111.nhs.uk if you have an urgent medical problem, but you’re not sure what to do.
• visit a sexual health service for testing for sexually transmitted infections and contraception advice.

You do not have to make an appointment or register for these services.

Missed Appointments Policy

We understand that sometimes you may not be able to attend your booked appointment. If you cannot attend, help us by letting us know as far in advance that you cannot make your appointment. This means we can offer the appointment to another patient who needs it.

• If you do not attend an appointment, our team will be in touch with you to ask why.
• If you regularly miss your appointments, we may have to consider removing you from our practice.
