Kings Cross Surgery will be hosting a Health & Wellbeing Open Day for all patients and members of the public on Tuesday 16th 2023 between 11am and 1pm at the N1C Centre, Kings cross, and EVERYONE is welcome to attend.

Visitors will have the opportunity to meet members of practice staff – including our GPs and Pharmacists, other patients and have an opportunity to have a free mini health checks. Free Refreshments will be provided and free kids activities will be there too keep our younger visitors entertained!

The event also provides patients and residents with an opportunity to meet a number of other local health and social care service providers accessible through the surgery for our patients as well as residents. Please see below for more information on those attending.

Camden Carers

Camden Carers offers information, advice and support to unpaid adult carers (18+) living, working or studying in Camden, or caring for someone who lives in Camden. If you are a Carer please pop along and see the Camden Carers team at our open day to see what support might be available to you.

If you’re not a carer yourself but know someone locally who is – tell them to come along – everyone is welcome!

Camden MSK (Musculoskeletal) Service

Camden MSK Service will be at our Open Day highlight to patients and local residents what types of support are available. Camden MSK services include physiotherapy, pain management, podiatry, orthopaedics, spinal surgery, rheumatology services and diagnostics.

Camden Council Air Quality Programme

Did you know that Camden Council are the first local authority to commit to achieving the World Health Organization air quality standards by 2030? The local authority’s mission it to realise Camden’s citizens’ vision for a borough in which nobody suffers ill-health as a result of the air they breathe. The Air Quality Programme is dedicated to helping the Council achieve their aims. Come along and learn more about their great plans to help reduce ill health by improving air quality.

Pancras Square Leisure

Looking for some inspiration to start your fitness journey – look no further! Pancras Square Leisure will be at the Health & Wellbeing Open Day offering discounted memberships for their gym and advising patients and residents what’s on offer at their gym.

Located in the heart of Kings Cross, a short walk from St Pancras International and Kings Cross stations, Pancras Square Leisure offers a variety of no contract, affordable gym memberships with discounts available for Students, Camden residents and Concessions. The gym boasts state-of-of-the-art equipment with dedicated cardio, resistance, pure strength and functional fitness training zones. Rethink Mental Illness

Information regarding Rethink Metal Illness’s local services including their free ‘Mental Health First Aider Training’ will be available for local residents at the Open Day.

Somali Youth Development Resource Centre (SYDRC)

The SYDRC is youth community-based organisation that has been working with Somali young people and other young people in Camden and neighbouring boroughs since 2000. SYDRC is unique in Camden as the only youth lead organisation providing activities and services for young people.
